What a joy it was to create the flowers for Annie and Robbie's gorgeous spring wedding at Willow Marsh Farm in Leicestershire. The colour palette was a soft and romantic blend of pale oranges, peaches, lilacs, pinks and purples, perfectly suited to the season. Using some of my favourite locally grown blooms - hellebores, ranunculus, tulips and anemones - alongside Kenyan roses full of fragrance and ruffled petals, I brought a relaxed, garden-inspired elegance to their day. Annie and Robbie chose to make a real statement by dressing the large mantle and chimney breast with flowers, creating a stunning backdrop for their ceremony and later for the wedding breakfast. The barn-style space was full of thoughtful details — from the floral welcome sign and long guest tables to the most incredible handmade feature: 1,000 macramé cranes, all created by the bride and suspended behind the top table. It was a beautiful blend of creativity, romance and craftsmanship. Although this wedding took place in Leicestershire, I'm based in Yorkshire and love to travel wherever my couples take me - bringing together seasonal British flowers and carefully sourced imports to make each celebration truly personal.
