Wedding Flowers Yorkshire & The North East
November 2024 has started like an absolute whirlwind…preparing for Christmas Wreath Making, taking delivery of a new van, full of weddings as you might expect BUT I also attended the Regional Finals for The Wedding Industry Awards which were held at The South Causey Inn, Durham on the 11/11/24. Meadows & Mulberry Weddings had been nominated for Yorkshire & North East Wedding Florist 2025. What an honour it has been being a finalist of this prestigious wedding award for a 3rd year in a row.
I am really thrilled to share with you I have won the title of TWIA for Yorkshire and the North East Regional Wedding Florist 2025. M&MW making the final and winning this coveted award is very much down to you... my wonderful Wedding Couples from the last year taking the time to share your experiences and voting for me. What a great accolade, to have such fabulous feedback from you all. Thank you.
This award recognises the outstanding service that the wedding industry provides and obviously for me that is not only creating flowers for all of your lovely weddings but the whole journey! This includes customer service, going above and beyond, quality, value and overall professionalism.

I will be attending the National Finals in January… where all of the Regional Finalists across the UK come together and the Winner is announced!! It's in London at the Globe theatre so wish me luck!!

I have a huge crush on flowers... fresh, dried... add colour into the mix and you've got me!! I want to create awesome wedding flowers that make you love them when you first see them, and then be transported back to your wedding day year on year.

How do I do that? I use seasonal flowers so they are in full bloom at the same time each year and the beauty of the flowers I choose, they often have a fragrance thus grabbing all the senses!!
Loving quirky, bold, natural, individual - all ideas are embraced…and if you're not sure exactly what it is you want... well I'll throw ideas into the ring and tease your vision to life.
Eco-conscious floristry in Yorkshire
Being eco-friendly as possible I'll encourage you to re-purpose, re-use... and I won't use single-use plastic. I'm proud of the fact I have been foam free since 2020.
I am based in Yorkshire... living in the North but I travel nationwide to a variety of wedding venues. Every wedding is different and that is the best part of my job!!
With a background as a Director of Sport at a school, organising Sports Tours and Skiing trips, as well as running a National Sport Squad, I am well used to planning an event. Maybe not the usual start for a wedding florist - but the organising skills have stayed with me... and all this experience means I'm a whizz at planning. Sprinkle that with a little bit of calm... just how I need to be to create your bespoke flowery designs.
