I am beyond delighted to announce that Meadows and Mulberry have been nominated for a customer service award in The North of England Wedding Awards 2020 #NOEWA20.
I love modern floristry; it is uninhibited and embraces the imperfections that nature produces. The seasons are captivating and I love using seasonal flowers in all my wedding and floral designs, working closely with British Flower Growers in and around Sheffield.
This is one of the most prestigious awards for client service excellence and identifies companies in the wedding industry, in the North, which offer high quality service, going above and beyond for their clients.
Therefore, I’m honoured to have been recognised and hold immense privilege to stand with other businesses that have also been shortlisted for this esteemed award.

Katie and Mark’s wedding took place on September 1st 2018 at Thornbridge Hall. With its picturesque views and twelve acres of stunning gardens, the Derbyshire country house was the perfect setting for their bespoke celebration.
The bride and groom wanted their flowers to compliment their wedding venue. They specified their desire for an elegant and opulent style of table arrangements and bouquets, with a simple colour scheme of white and green.
The late summer season was the ideal time for an abundance of British flowers. The top table arrangement featured an exquisite variety of white flowers, such as phlox, dahlias, cosmos, roses mixed in with the rich greenery. All of which were locally sourced from Hollybrook Flower Farm, near Chesterfield.
The Bride and Bridesmaids’ bouquets were full of white hydrangeas, formed into a classic rounded shape and bound with white ribbon. These beautiful flowers were a feature on all of the guest tables filling the vases and complimenting the Bride and Groom’s choice of decor for the Carriage Hall.
Katie and Mark had a wonderful day and Katie had this to say about her experience with Meadows and Mulberry:
"Upon meeting Karon, the owner, I instantly felt at ease. I didn’t feel under pressure or manipulated into a design/decision of what I wanted my flowers to be.
She really listened to my vision for the wedding and she delivered beyond belief. I had so many compliments from my guests and even though I asked for some last minute changes she still managed to fulfil my dreams.
After my wedding I don’t just consider Karon a florist I chose to supply my wedding flowers, but now a friend who played a massive part in my day."
